Once the functional medicine labs* have been interpreted, a treatment plan that typically includes dietary adjustments, simple lifestyle alterations, and occasional supplements can be tailored to meet each patient's specific, individual needs.
*At present, labs are not billed through insurance and are billed directly to the patient. Some laboratories provide receipts/super bills that your insurance may or may not accept for direct-to-patient reimbursement. Labs may be run multiple times, several months apart, to ensure that any aberrant results have resolved post-treatment.
